
Building the Next Generation of Communicators with the University of Sharjah
IN2’s partnership with the College of Communication at University of Sharjah is rooted in a shared belief that stronger collaboration between academia and industry creates better-prepared communication professionals.
Formalised through a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the partnership is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice by giving students direct access to the realities of the communications industry.
Since signing the MoU, IN2 and the College of Communication have delivered a series of practical engagements to strengthen student readiness for the professional sector. These have included direct mentorship from IN2 practitioners, a student visit to our Dubai office to experience agency life first-hand, and an on-campus workshop focused on strategic storytelling, industry application, and the evolving demands of the communications profession.
Another key element of the MoU is the planned co-design and co-implementation of a national behaviour change campaign. This initiative, suggested by the students, will focus on preserving the culture of the UAE. The campaign is currently being designed and developed, and it represents a collaborative effort between IN2 and the UoS, involving its students and professors.
IN2 also participated in the 18th Exhibition of Graduation Projects organised by the College of Communication at University of Sharjah, engaging with emerging talent and supporting students as they showcased the culmination of their academic and creative work.
With several new joint initiatives already in development, the partnership continues to expand practical learning opportunities for students while strengthening the connection between academic learning and professional practice.
